Calling All Knitters and Crocheters!

The Deacons are sponsoring the “Hat and Mitten Tree” again this year and will have a tree in the gathering space during advent.

People can make or purchase hats, mittens, and scarves and hang them on the tree as decorations. These gifts will be distributed as needed to the children and adults who are coming to our Food Pantry on Saturdays later in the month of December and early January.

We know that knitters and crocheters often have leftover wool from other projects that are perfect for a hat, scarf or pair of small mittens. So consider making some items for this project! Store bought items are also much appreciated.
