Join us on Sunday mornings for a fascinating study and thought-provoking conversation! As Presbyterians, our Book of Confessions is meant to guide us as individuals and as a faith community. Most recently, the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA voted to include the Confession of Belhar in our Book of Confessions. Belhar was written by the Dutch Reformed Mission Church as a theological challenge to South African apartheid. This dynamic study will explore the Confession of Belhar, its historical context, relevant scripture passages, and the legacy of racism in the United States.
