Can You Help With the Food Drive at Stop & Shop? September 13

Each year, Feeding Westchester partners with Telemundo and Stop&Shop to conduct a county wide Food Drive to benefit local food pantries. We once again have the opportunity for our pantry to receive donations from this drive if we can provide enough volunteers to staff the event.

Can you help on Saturday September 13? Sign-up for a 2-hour shift at the Stop & Shop (Baldwin Place & Route 6) or to drive a truck or SUV load of donations back to the church (we’ll need donations picked up throughout the day). We will need to commit to our participation by August 15 (only if we have enough volunteers).

Our experience with this drive is that our neighbors have been very generous and we receive lots of items for our pantry that are not available through Feeding Westchester. This is a great opportunity for families to spend a couple of hours together giving back to the community.
