40 Cans For Lent — Thinking about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

This week we invite you into a more personal relationship with our hungry neighbors. When you go shopping this week, we encourage you to check whether the products you purchase are available on SNAP benefits and see what alternatives you can find that are not. By changing the way we shop, we can ensure that the shelves are stocked with food our hungry neighbors can purchase when they come into the store. In this way, by walking a new path, we make the road easier for our hungry neighbors that walk alongside us. Learn more about what is available on SNAP and what makes a person eligible.

You can easily find our drop-off point at the back of the church building. Donations are brought in every day.
