Bring your backpacks Sunday, September 18 to church for a blessing! With school back in session, we the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown want to send as many kids as possible back to school with God’s blessing and the support of FPCY. Education is a great gift that truly makes a difference in lives of children and youth, giving them choices in life and helping them grow into the intelligent, creative, funny, playful, musical, athletic people they can be. Join us Sunday, September 18 at 8:30 or 10:45 as we bless our children and pray for them in this new school year.
Join us also in our commitment to give school supplies to children. No child should fall behind because they don’t have the basic tools to learn. Click the link below and make a donation to the Deacons’ Fund and mark the gift “school supplies.” 100% of your gift supports children and youth in the area. This year, we gave away nearly 200 school supply kits.
