Women’s Bible Circle for 2016-2017: Who Is Jesus? What a Difference a Lens Makes

HZN16100 LARGE DISPLAYJoin Reverend Tami Seidel on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. for a women’s Bible study and fellowship time.  This year’s topic is Who Is Jesus? What a Difference a Lens Makesby Judy Yates Siker. Each of the study’s nine lessons explores the question “Who is Jesus?” through a particular theological lens. The author explores the answers to the question through the lenses of Mark, Matthew, Luke, John, Paul, Hebrews, the non-canonical gospels, the Abrahamic Faiths, and contemporary cultural interpretations. She notes that each of us who reads the New Testament is an interpreter of the text, and that how we interpret depends in part on who we are. Join the hundreds of thousands of thoughtful Christians who will be sharing this study together in the coming months.

Books are available for $8 each. For information, call Marianna Sherman (737-8294). All meetings are at 10:30 a.m. in the library/lounge (Room 15). All women are invited. Our first meeting is September 7. All women are invited to attend!
