YAV Sunday is August 26

On Sunday, August 26, we will commission Young Adult Volunteers of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to a year of service.

The Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program is an ecumenical, faith-based year of service for young people, ages 19-30, in 22 sites around the world and in the United States. YAVs accompany local agencies working to address root causes of poverty and reconciliation while exploring the meaning and motivation of their faith in intentional community with peers and mentors. YAVs serve during the academic year, August to July.

Join us Sunday, August 26 to commission YAVs from across the country. And for those who are eligible, prayerfully consider if God is calling you to a year of service, exploration and discernment.
