Please Help the Food Pantry Reach its 2017 $10,000 Matching Goal

 

DID YOU KNOW?   The FPCY Food Pantry has a matching grant that is critical to our ability to serve the hungry.  The grant will match up to $10,000 per year in monetary donations from the congregation or external individuals, and those gifts plus the match cover about 50% of our operations each year.

 

But so far for 2017 we have only received $5000 in contributions, putting our 2018 operations in jeopardy.  PLEASE consider a Food Pantry gift (we have lovely cards you can use) for birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or that year-end charity donation… and please don’t wait till December 31st !   You could give online (or with a note on the check memo line) now, and then pick up one of our beautiful cards during coffee hours later in the fall.
