News from the Deacons — The Transportation Ministry

Transportation Ministry: Serving with Compassion

Our Church, through the faithful work of the Board of Deacons, offers a referral-based transportation
ministry to support members of our congregation in times of need.

Transportation requests may come from:

  • Individuals in need
  • Referrals from our pastors
  • Ministries under the Board of Deacons

Coordinating Rides — Once a request is received, the Deacon overseeing transportation will:

  • Identify a willing volunteer to provide the ride
  • Coordinate transportation to medical appointments, worship services, and church events

To ensure the safety and comfort of all involved:

  • Each request is thoughtfully screened
  • Any physical disabilities or special needs are noted
  • Relevant information is shared with the assigned volunteer to ensure proper care and preparedness

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers who make this ministry possible. If you feel called to serve in this way, we warmly welcome your participation. Your willingness to drive someone to a moment of healing or worship is a true act of grace.
