Presbyterian Youth Triennium is a gathering for youth from the PC(USA) and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church denominations that occurs every three years. It is open to youth entering High School through graduated seniors. (The 2013 Triennium had over 5,000 participants from all over the US as well as other countries from across the world!)
The 2016 event is July 19-23, 2016 at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN
Triennium is a life giving, life changing, faith moving experience! As the world changes, society shifts – and the church expands – the need for vibrant young Presbyterians grows. Help your young people GO to the next great place in their faith!
Our church is sending 8 youth and 3 adults (Chip Low, Mary Vezzutto, and our Youth Ministry director Stephanie Hare).
The theme for the Triennium 2016 is “GO”:
GO and See
GO and Do Likewise
The Way I should GO
Let My People GO
GO into the world
Based on this theme, participants will explore areas of faith including Discernment, Advocacy for the marginalized, among other issues. There will be plenty of worship, music, and fun.
