Have you ever marveled at how many upcoming activities and events are mentioned during announcements at worship or in the Disciple? Have you ever wondered how so many things “just happen”?
Well, as you probably know, they don’t “just happen”! There are many groups of volunteers who manage to make all of these worthwhile (and usually fun) things run smoothly. Whatever your talents or interests, there is sure to be a group that would love to have you join in!
On Sunday, March 6, we will be holding a “Commission Carnival.” Booths will be set up throughout Fellowship Hall to share information about all the ways you can get involved in the church community. Information tables will be set up for Budget & Finance, Communications, Congregational Life, Education, Mission, Operations, Personnel, Stewardship, Worship Design, Deacons/Food Pantry, Green Faith, Gardeners of Eden, The Knitting Groups, Lunch Bunch, Youth Group and many other activities that depend on the involvement of the congregation. Come and find out how you can get involved. All of these groups welcome anyone from the congregation who would like to participate. The fair will be open after both the 8:30 and the 10:45 services.
