Can You Help with the Presbytery Meeting on January 28?

FPCY is hosting the Presbytery of Hudson River on Tuesday, January 28. This means that 120-150 people from churches all over the Presbytery will be coming here to worship and conduct the business of the Presbytery (which meets 5-6 times/year).

This meeting is particularly special for us because during the worship service, our own Connie Knapp will be officially installed as the Moderator of the Presbytery for the coming year. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our presence in our larger Presbyterian neighborhood!

We need your help in a variety of ways to welcome the Presbytery to FPCY – greeters, ushers, parking attendants, food set-up/servers/clean-up, etc. Use this link to sign up to help! If you’re not sure how or when you can help, just show up and we’ll put you to work.

In addition to these tasks, we are asking the congregation to provide 2-3 dozen cookies to serve for dessert at lunch. Please bake your cookies and bring them to church on Sunday, January 26.

Thanks for helping us extend a warm welcome to the Presbytery!

See you in church,
Tami & Chip
