The school supply drive has been extended to August 19.
This year, we would like to better meet the needs of our middle school and high school clients by tailoring our school supply offerings to more closely deliver what teachers are requiring while still providing core supplies for elementary school students. We will also be working with local school districts to supply advanced calculators for students in upper level math and science classes whose family’s cannot absorb that expense. We need your help in a number of areas.
We especially are in need of
- 3″, 2″, 1.5″, 1″ binders
- dividers
- packs of graph paper
- TI30X11S calculators
We can also use
- backpacks (our clients especially appreciate them and we never have left overs)
- safety scissors
- crayons (16 or 24 pack)
- washable markers (8, 10 or 12 pack)
- colored pencils (8, 10, 12 pack)
- #2 sharpened pencils
- pink erasers (packages of 2 preferred)
- Large glue sticks
- Marble Notebooks – wide ruled
- wide ruled loose leaf
- college ruled loose leaf
- 1 inch binders
- 1.5 inch binders
- sharpie markers – black
- earbuds or headphone
- TI – 30XIIS Scientific calculators (Please no substitutes – schools have specific requirements)
Perhaps you’d love to pick out some items, but can’t bring yourself to brave the office supply stores. You might consider shopping online and having items delivered right to the church. (Consider using the name in the address as “First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown School Supply Drive” so that it’s sure to end up in the right place.)
