YAV Volunteer Alex – Their eyes were opened and they recognized Him

FPCY_generic_postOn August 30, our church commissioned three Young Adult Volunteers for their year of service. They are each writing about their experiences on personal blogs. Alex Sprague, who is working in Montana, posted a video blog where he talks about his work in Chinook, tutoring high school kids, working at the preschool, helping at the senior center, etc.

Despite a difficult day, a gorgeous sunset reminds him that God is always by his side, and of his favorite passage in Luke, the walk to Emmaus.  “Their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.”
