Thursday, August 15, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm the Taghkanic Chorale will host a Summer Sing of Mendelssohn’s Elijah at our church.
The Taghkanic Chorale rehearses in our building throughout the year, and four of our choir members sing with them. The Chorale wants to welcome any members of our congregation to join them for this fun event. Admission is $15 ($10 for students) which includes the loan of the music and helps to pay for the professional accompanist. Even if you don’t sing, you may enjoy following along in the music, and sitting in on how a piece of music comes together. This year we are doing Elijah by Mendelssohn, which is an exciting and dramatic story, and director Jason Tramm is welcoming, dynamic, and loves to teach and explain the music as he conducts! All are welcome!
