Congregational Connection Commission

Our mission is intentional fellowship as it relates to inviting and sustaining connections within our congregation and beyond.

Being the newest FPCY commission, Congregational Connection Commission (CCC) meets once a month; usually the first Friday @ 3:00 in person and on Zoom. The commission is made up of many committees. Committees have been organized into branches of the commission, depending on their intent. Each committee has a designated meeting time depending on their scheduled events.

Our Membership committees consist of First Visit Forward, New Member Classes, and Annual Membership Review. Sustaining Relationships includes Gratitude Notes and Veterans Recognition. Our Small Groups are Women’s Birthday Breakfast Club, Men’s Breakfast, and Women at the Well. Whole Church Activities are organized by our Coffee Hour and Lunch Bunch committees.

Special Events such as the Congregational Meeting, Easter Sunrise Service, and Church Picnic are organized annually. Our goal continues to be welcoming and fostering intentional fellowship, inviting a sustaining connection within our congregation and community, and sharing a life filled with Christ’s grace, faith and love.
