A huge thank you to the volunteers who came on Friday to pre-pack 191 bags of food (including the Beaver Ridge/ Wynwood Oaks deliveries) and a ton (literally) of produce. And many, many thanks to the volunteers who stood outside on a windy morning to help our hungry neighbors.

The drive-by logistics worked well. The clients were thankful that we were open and appreciated the hands-off model for them.

Contributions of shelf-stable milk, 1-lb frozen meat, breakfast cereal and canned fruit would be particularly welcome. There is a bin outside the back door of the church school building (by the parking lot) for pantry contributions, should you be so inclined.
