YAV Erin: Trials of Transportation

Erin, who is spending her YAV year in Asheville, North Carolina, writes eloquently about learning that the major inconveniences many of us feel entitled to complain about are very small potatoes.  She writes:

As frustrated as I still get when I miss the bus and have to wait 30-60 minutes or walk home, I’m learning valuable lessons that I never could have learned from the driver’s seat. For that, I’m grateful.

On Sunday, August 26, 2018, we commissioned Rachel Carpenter, Brooke Cobb, and Erin Tolar, who dedicate a year of their lives to learn what God is doing through them and in them. We hope to follow their journey through their online blogs.
