Adult Ed

The FPCY Adult Education Program provides a variety of interest areas to help better understand our faith in the world around us.

Sessions will run Sunday mornings at  9:30 AM , in the lounge, between services;  and  some sessions will repeat on Wednesday nights, as needed.      Other programs will be scheduled on an ad hoc basis.

The Women’s Bible Circle offers monthly women’s Bible study  on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the lounge (Room 15).

"24 Hours that Changed the World" by Adam Hamilton

By viewing an amazing DVD, we will travel to the Holy Land to visit the sites where the events of Jesus’ last 24 hours took place. We will walk where Jesus walked and see what he may have seen, along the road that led to the pain of the cross and the triumph of the Resurrection.

Three options (all meet in the Library-Lounge):

    Sunday mornings, 9:30 am: Feb. 26, Mar. 4, 11, 18, 25, Apr. 1 & 15

    Wednesday evenings, 8:00 pm*: Feb. 22, 29, Mar.7, 14, 21, 28, Apr. 4

    Thursday mornings, 10:00 am: Feb. 23, Mar. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Apr. 5

NOTE: *Wednesday evenings: A Time of Prayer at 7:30 pm will precede the “24 Hours” study.

Books for the study and an accompanying Lenten devotional may be purchased in the Gathering Space between worship services on Sunday, 2/19 or at the first session of the study.
