CHURCH SCHOOL CHALKBOARD ~ May 2013

CHURCH SCHOOL CHALKBOARD ~ May 2013

On the first Sunday in May, we will begin the story of Jonah. This story will teach the children that they cannot hide from God. God called upon Jonah to do a very difficult thing – go to his enemies and tell them about God. Jonah tried hard not to do what God wanted and yet God persisted. God saw the value in not only Johan’s life but in the lives of his enemies. Jonah learns that judgment belongs to God and God alone. God chooses to extend grace to all people – people have to just be willing to accept it. “Deliverance belongs to the Lord”. (Jonah 2:9)

Upcoming Dates to Note:
