Adult Ed For Fall

Your Adult Ed planning team met recently to plan classes for the fall. Here’s a summary of classes planned so far:

The Women’s Circle meets on the first Wednesday morning of each month from 10:30 until noon, starting Wednesday, September 5, 2018 and ending on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. The group is led by Tami Seidel and is following the Presbyterian Women’s Magazine, Horizons curriculum, God’s Promise: I am With You. All women are welcome to attend one or more of these meetings. You don’t have to attend every session to get a lot out of the study!

On Tuesday OR Thursday mornings we will be discussing Unafraid: Living with Courage and Hope in Uncertain Times, a five-week study developed by Adam Hamilton. You can see a trailer for the book and get some idea of what we’ll be talking about here.

The men’s breakfast will be held on Saturday September 15 in Fellowship Hall at 7:30 AM (and this year on the third Saturday of the month).

Sunday morning we’ll be discussing an Adam Hamilton curriculum-Enough: Discovering Joy Through Simplicity and Generosity ($11). Enough is an invitation to rediscover the Bible’s wisdom about managing our “stuff” and our financial resources, to change your life by changing your relationship with money. In these pages are found the keys to experiencing contentment, overcoming fear, and discovering joy through simplicity and generosity.

Wednesday Evenings @ 7:00 pm, starting October 3: Disciple 3 Fast Track: Remember Who You Are. Disciple 3FT is a 24-week Bible study which takes an in-depth look at the Prophets of the Old Testament and the Letter of Paul in the New Testament. Completion of one other Disciple Bible is strongly recommended.

We have a few other offerings still “in the works” so stay tuned!

See you in class!
