Our guest preacher this week is the Rev. Deke Spierling. Dr. Spierling is a member of Hudson River Presbytery (HR). He has served with congregations in Massachusetts and New Jersey, as well as Cornwall-on-Hudson and Newburgh, NY. Deke is a member of the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and co-chairs PresbyBuild, a mission partnership of Presbyterian congregations with Habitat Newburgh that is currently sponsoring its 8th home. He lives in New Windsor, NY, with his wife Wendy (Hyatt), a daughter of this church.
