Caring for Our Congregation
In addition to pastoral care offered by Chip and Tami, our Board of Deacons conducts several programs in care of members and friends who may need special help. If you, a family member, or a nearby friend need this kind of help, contact the Church Office.
Contact With the Homebound
The Deacons regularly visit members who are confined to homes, assisted care and nursing facilities, rehabilitation units, and hospitals. Our Pastor and the Deacons bring Communion to homebound members several times each year.
We arrange transportation to and from Church services, and for other critical needs such as health care appointments.
Loaves and Fishes
The Deacons coordinate volunteers who provide meals to members and families in their times of needs such as medical emergencies.
We connect with members and friends on the important events in their lives via cards mailed to them.
For families of members who have passed away, we organize receptions in our Fellowship Hall after the memorial services.
Silent Samaritan Fund Available
If the church can be helpful, the Silent Samaritan Fund is available for short term help. Please contact Chip or Tami if you have need. You can donate to the fund online, or please put “Silent Samaritan Fund” on your check and drop it in the collection plate or mail it to the office.
If you are in need of Pastoral Care or Hospital Visitation, please inform the Church Office of your need.
Please let us know of an upcoming hospitalization or surgery by touching base with our Church’s Caregivers. Our Pastor, Elder Teams and the Deacons are here to meet your needs, but we can’t know unless you keep us informed.
