Our congregation is committed to Mission; relieving suffering and sharing God’s love, especially in the areas of hunger and safe housing. Some of our members feel called to do the physical “hands and feet” work. Others can’t at this time. We would invite the whole congregation to be hands and feet in our church’s mission trips through prayer support and through direct support of our team members.
Beginning in June, we will offer the opportunity to sign a foot or a hand for a donation to support your teams. These will be hung in the Fellowship Hall as a show of support for your Mission Teams (New Jersey for Hurricane Sandy rebuilding in July, Dominican Republic in August to work with Bridges to Community, and a middle school mission trip to Stony Point Farm in September). You may not physically be there but you can learn, “travel” and “work” vicariously through YOUR MISSION TEAMS. Look for our tables starting in June and come along for the ride to become one of God’s hands or feet in our Missions in NJ and Dominican Republic. Or “Give Now” on one of the mission trip line items and we will make sure you get a “hand or foot”!
