During March, our children will learn about “Wandering in the Wilderness”.
Scripture:
- Exodus 16-20
- Numbers 11: 1-6, 10-16
Memory Verse:
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; you shall have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20: 2, 3.
Learning Objectives: The Hebrews wandered through the Sinai Desert for 40 years. They were given many signs and wonders from God. These signs and wonders were given to them so they would understand the presence of God in their midst. God provided for the He brews then and will continue to provide for all our needs now. Please be aware that we will be distributing our annual One Great Hour of Sharing collection (fish) boxes in March. What we give to the One Great Hour of Sharing is an act of faith and love. Our gifts are an expression of grace and love to those who stand in need today. If your child chooses to contribute to this cause, we would like you to know that these containers will be collected in church school by April 3rd.
Did you know? Our PreK-5th Graders are learning how to sign “The Lord‟s Prayer” using American Sign Language as taught to them by our own “Amazing Grace”. Ask your child if they can sign the first line for you, “Our Father, who (lives) in heaven…”. You may be
surprised!
