Caring Circle

The Caring Circle is a supportive program for grieving children and their families. It was developed to respond to a need for age-specific, open-ended support groups for bereaved children in our community. The Caring Circle provides a supportive and welcoming community to help children and adults deal with their feelings. Additional general information about this program is available at the Caring Circle’s website.

The Caring Circle typically meets in our church building every other Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.

Children meet in groups organized by age:

  • Littles, 3-5 years
  • Pre-middlers, 6-8 years
  • Middlers, 9-12 years
  • Teens

The Caring Circle also has programs for grieving adults.  These include:

  • Spousal loss
  • Child loss
  • Adult loss of a parent
  • Perinatal loss
